My Floating Home
Little did we know when we built this for a regular customer; we knew it was going to be placed on a pontoon but we didn't realise the journey would be filmed by a television production company. The pod was designed internally by the customer and the build process was pretty standard apart from a few chassis adjustments and sitting on the pontoon considerations.
This pod is 2 bedrooms and is probably more spacious than a typical floating home. If you are interested we have the pontoon manufacturers details and we realise that balance is one of the key considerations when floating a building or pod. This is mainly down to the type and structure of the pontoon.
We can supply pods to fit these in one or 2 bedroom sizes and layouts but internally it is all about meeting your design aspirations.

The pod was delivered to site before the pontoon was ready but once it was in place a crane to lift the pod into place was filmed and completed very smoothly.
