Treborough Cross Country Training Ground

Mark and Sarah Weatherlake own and run Treborough Cross Country Course as a family business. It developed from their desire to provide a training ground for their children and has grown from there. Treborough Common in Exmoor is an expansive area and provides facilities for equine cross country, training, competitions, dressage and camps. They also offer specialist tuition for both the experienced and novice rider.
The Treborough Cross Country Course is situated on Exmoor, with easy access from the B3224 at Treborough. It is only 19 miles (40 mins) from Taunton and 21 miles (45 mins) from Tiverton. Treborough is easily accessible from Exeter, North Devon and Bristol. There is good access for cars, trailers and lorries with ample parking facilities. Professionally built fences incorporating new "bold and solid" fences built by Chris Morris who is part of the Olympic course building team for Greenwich 2012. He has used locally sourced timber to create a course that flows over the natural Exmoor terrain. The course runs through newly planted, mixed woodland area where over 35,000 trees have been planted. Fences range from 40cms to 110cms that range over 70 acres of well-drained permanent pasture.
If you are interested in a few day break with accommodation, training and space for exploring, please contact Sarah on 01984 641179
